In QuoteSlayer once you have drawn an object, you can duplicate it, and use the same measurement again and again. A cable, duplicated to be the earth, the conduit and the trench.
An area, can have a grid counted within it, array out line members in fixed intervals, convert it to a volume without ever having to redraw the original object.
A line for the tray is a line for the cable.
Draw the conduit, and duplicate to be the earth wire. Duplicate it again and make it the trench to get the excavation volume. Duplicate it again and make it the submain cable. Then make the submain a "cable" four parallel runs, with different length droppers at each end. Four measurements off of one object,

No subtracting rectangles on a notepad, and no risk of pricing the same square metre twice.
